Pet Radiology & Laboratory

Diagnostic imaging has become vital to veterinary medicine over the last decade. Our modern equipment ensures minimal radiation exposure and provides us with explicit films in a timely manner.

Pet Radiology & Laboratory

Quality X-rays aid our veterinarians in quickly diagnosing many disorders. From bones to organs and tumors to neurological diseases, advanced digital imaging services can provide potentially life-saving early detection of internal issues.

Norway Veterinary Hospital also has an in-house laboratory that allows us to perform many diagnostic lab tests while you wait. We can perform various blood screens, pre-anesthetic bloodwork, urinalysis, and other types of testing on-site instead of sending samples to an outside lab.

Testing provided in the hospital includes:

  • Liver enzyme screening
  • Pancreatic evaluation
  • Renal (Kidney) profiles
  • Complete blood counts
  • General chemistries
  • Blood gases
  • FelV, FIV in cats
  • Parvovirus in dogs

While we offer extensive on-site testing, your pet may need laboratory work beyond our scope. For those cases, we are happy to send blood work or other testing to an outside lab to send the results back to us.

Our advanced diagnostic services save you time and money while providing priceless peace of mind. If you’d like to learn more about the diagnostic services we offer or would like to book an appointment for your pet, please call us at (207) 743-6384.
