Our Services
We are an AAHA-accredited animal hospital that has been serving the pet population of Norway, Maine and surrounding communities for almost 50 years.
Founded by Dr. Charles Gauger in 1964, Norway Veterinary Hospital began as both a small and large animal practice. Later, Dr. Gauger decided to focus solely on pets, and this change coincided with a move to our current, state-of-the-art Main Street location.

Meet Dr. Gauger
Dr. Todd Gauger joined the Norway team in 1988 and purchased the practice in 2003. Since then, the hospital expanded its offerings to include orthopedic surgery and non-traditional medicine. Our skilled and experienced team is ready and eager to take on any challenge, and we treat every pet like a member of our own family. We consider you, the pet parent, our partner in your pet’s care and will work with you every step of the way to provide the members of your furry family with a long and healthy life.
